COMMUNITY BASED CPR, AED, AND BASIC FIRST AID TRAINING Saturday, September 7, 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM( Click here for more information)

As part of our goal to make our community safer and more prepared, we are offering low-cost training to members of our community. This training is perfect for parents, babysitters, or anyone in the community who wants to be prepared to help save a life in the event of a medical emergency. This training is open to all Jasper County residents, aged 16 and up. Proceeds from this training will support the Ridgeland Hearts Matter campaign and will be used to help save lives by placing public access AEDs in our community.

This program will help develop basic first aid knowledge and skills, and the confidence to act in the event of an emergency. CPR, AED and Basic First Aid combination training is an excellent choice for both the community and workplace setting, and conforms to the 2015 AHA Guidelines Update for CPR and ECC, and the 2015 AHA and ARC Guidelines Update for First Aid.

Students must successfully complete a written and skills evaluation for successful completion (certification).
